Empowering Individuals with Compassionate Support
At Mildred’s Helping Hands, we are proud to offer Behavioral and Developmental Services (BDS) to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) throughout Indianapolis and surrounding counties. Through Medicaid waiver programs, we support individuals and families with personalized care designed to enhance daily living, independence, and community involvement
Our BDS Services Include:
1. Home & Community Habilitation:
Skill-building activities to improve independence and life skills in the home or community.
2. Respite Care:
Temporary relief for primary caregivers by providing professional supervision and support.
3. Participant Assistance & Care (PAC):
Hands-on help with tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, and light housekeeping.
4. Behavioral Support Monitoring:
Reinforcement of positive behavior strategies outlined in behavior support plans.
5. Caregiver Support & Training:
Education and resources for families and natural supports to promote success in the home.
